This is a simple electric motor that uses ‘vice grip’ pliers to hold a free standing rotor axle. The axle is a straightened paperclip and the rotor is a plastic bottle. The rotor magnets are held on the rotor with magnetism only—-no glue. A simple reed switch driver makes the motor turn. The capacitor is a 2.7v 10F super capacitor pre-loaded with about 2.5 volts.
