Tutorial: Beaded Wire Wrap Bracelet

This is a tutorial for making a beaded wire wrap bracelet.

Instructions in this video:
You will need: size 8 beads, 20 gauge wire, 28 gauge wire, needle nose pliers, a tape measure, and wire cutters.
Step 1: Measure your wrist loosely, then add an inch and a half (3.81 cm) to the measurement. (For larger wrists, add at least 2 inches (5.08 cm) to be safe — it’s better to have extra wire than not enough). Write this measurement down.
Step 2: Double the amount from Step 1, then measure and cut this amount of the 20 gauge wire.
Step 3: Carefully bend the wire in half. Make sure the bent end is rounded.
Step 4: Take the amount from Step 1, and multiply it by 4.5 inches (or 11.43 cm). Then, measure and cut this amount of 28 gauge wire.
Step 5: Take the end of the 28 gauge wire, and tightly wrap it three times around the 20 gauge wire, right below the loop end.
Step 6: Slide 3 beads onto the 28 gauge wire.
Step 7: Tightly wrap the 28g wire twice around the 20g wire, on the opposite side, just under the loop. Make sure to keep the beads as snug with the wire as possible.
Step 8: Slide 3 beads onto the 28g wire, and wrap it twice onto the opposite side of the 20g wire.
Step 9: Repeat this process, until the bracelet is the length of your measurement from step 1.
Step 10: Carefully bend the bracelet into an oval, then try it on your wrist. If it is not comfortable, keep adjusting the shape until it is. If it’s not long enough, add more beads.
Step 11: Once this is done, wrap the 28g around the 20g three times, then cut the 28g. Use the pliers to flatten it so there isn’t a sharp end sticking out.
Step 12: Cut the 20g wire, leaving some extra on both sides. Use the pliers to create a hook on each side with the extra wire.
Step 13: Test it by putting the hooks through the loop at the other end of the bracelet. When everything works smoothly, you’re done!
