Pursuit of the perfect hiking multi-tool

Those who watch my channel know I am a Leatherman fan and have a strong affection for my Wave. The Wave is my EDC and serves its purpose well but when it came to backpacking I found a couple of drawbacks. Specifically weight and comfort of use over extended periods. This lead to a stint with the Victorinox Fieldmaster. This was a much lighter alternative but I really missed one-handed opening and a lockblade. By adding these two requirements into the mix I arrived at a “compromise” multi-tool of the Victorinox Trekker. When I finishing testing this I will post a review.
