•…and your new shower head

Start by protecting the bathtub or shower enclosure with an old towel or sheet.
Next make sure the faucet is off.
Remove the old shower head. Remember to hold on to the shower arm when removing the shower head
Clean any old Teflon tape or sealant off the pipe by using the wire brush.
Now apply two or three wraps of teflon tape to the pipe threads.
Install the new shower head hand tight. Some shower heads require additional tightening.
In that case give it a quarter turn with the slip-joint pliers. Put a cloth on the shower head nut so the pliers won’t mark the finish.
Remove the protective covering you put on the floor of the shower stall or tub.
Turn the water on and check the flow from the new shower head. Check for leaks and you’re done.
You can get everything you need to install a new shower head…
