I wanted to make a set of segmented bird wings that really undulated as the pair of wings flapped. I got distracted on the way there by this little dragonfly. His little bailing wire wings beat furiously as his body barely moves. I made him from bailing wire that was bent using pliers, vise grips and a tube wire wrapping tool I made. It is attached to nails that are mounted in a block of wood salvaged from a pallet. The two nails that stick out in the back will probably get a cattail or two. I still plan on getting to that flapping albatross soon.
