Sorry about the blurry video. The camera had trouble focusing. I had a budget to rebuild this engine and then stuff happens. The machine shop quoted me a very reasonable price to machine out the sleeves. The price was $30 CDN per liner. I was all set to do the deal when crap happened so I had to compromise some. The block has to be machined to accept the new liner because of a lip on the new liners to help keep it in place. I needed to know how much machining because it looked like something was in that spot for the lip already. I got ambitious and devised a plan (hair-brained) and commenced to shatter the liners. Here it is. I used a flat edge screw driver and hammer. I also used a pair of vice grips to hold the screw driver after I smacked my thumb twice with the hammer. And no I am not a red neck, I just think that way sometimes.
