One of the pins inside the cf card slot got pushed in where it was not supposed to be upon inserting a cf card. As a result, the camera came up with a cf card error and could not read or write to the card. Was going to cost me $350 to fix at the local repair shop. Decided to grind down a long nose pliers so it was small enough to fit into the cf card slot and grip onto the pin – then CAREFULLY pull it back into position. Camera now works as normal. Not sure though how much damage occured to the internals on the otherside of the damaged pin. I don’t take any responsibility for any damage which might occur as a result of what you may do…..Good luck!
