Removing and installing new outer and inner tie rod ends on a 2000 Subaru Forester. This technique applies to many other applications with variables on the size of fasteners etc. Most of the tools used were from Harbor Freight. Here is a list of the tools used:
-Brushless 1/4″ hex impact wrench with 1/2 inch impact socket adapter
-1/2″ breaker bar
-1/2″ torque wrench
-1.5 ton jack
-2x 2 ton jack stands
-19mm deep impact socket
-Torch and fuel
-Sea Foam Deep Creep or similar penetrating lubricant
-Ball joint separating tool
-Long nose locking pliers
-13mm crescent wrench
-Adjustable crescent wrench
-1/4″ screwdriver
-Small needle nose-pliers
-Hook pick
