Not a Fan of Multi tools.
The main problem with multi-tools is that they can’t really do anywhere near as much as separate tools. You get a lot as far as compactness but in the multi-tool you lose most of the practical functionality of the various tools found in a typical multi-tool. Rather than carrying a multi-tool, I found that carrying a strong folding knife with a partial serrated edge and small pair of needle-nose vice-grips to be much more useful than the multi-tool. The pliers on the multi-tool don’t grip as well as the needle-nose vice-grips and the needle-nose vice-grips open up much wider than the jaws on the pliers of the multi-tool. Also the needle-nose vice-grips, can often work better at breaking free regular screws and Phillips head screws and the screwdrivers found on the multi-tool, in addition the small vice-grips are far better at loosening bolts.
