Hey guys, welcome back to KnifeHog.com! Addison here and today I’ll be reviewing the Leatherman Charge multi-tool model 830662.
Although many multi-tools are typically composed of low quality materials, this is certainly not the case for the Leatherman Charge. With a closed length of 4” and weighing in at 8.3 ounces, the Charge serves as the ultimate multi-tool. The frame of this tool is composed of 6061-T6 anodized aluminum, which holds the tools together so securely that it is highly unlikely that they will rattle or wobble around over time. Leatherman has also fitted rubber panels on the frame of this multi-tool in order to provide you with a more secure grip while you are performing everyday chores. The Charge has been equipped with a total of 17 tools that can be deployed very easily and are made of quality material. To name a few, there are a pair of scissors, needle nose pliers, a fully serrated blade constructed of 420HC stainless steel, a plain edge knife constructed of 154CM steel, bottle opener and phillips head screw driver bits. A leather pouch comes included with this multi-tool so you can easily carry it on your belt.
Overall, the Leatherman Charge is the ideal multi-tool. Its unique handle construction, easily accessible tools and leather pouch make it ideal to carry around with you around the house, on the job or even out in the field. Each tool in the Charge’s construction is made out of quality steel material and are capable of getting just about any job done. Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about this multi-tool and highly recommend it to those of you looking for a tough and reliable tool.
