2003 Honda CRV Location of heater hoses, tools used, and cause of my leak?
Sorry, no video of the actual hose replacement. I couldnt find a good angle to put the camera to record anything in progress.
Cold engine, I needed to use both my Corbin style hose clamp pliers (KD), cable style hose clamp pliers (Craftsman), and 90degree angle pliers (Sunex) to move the hose clamps off. I then used my radiator hose pick (Harbor Freight) and round hose pliers (Sunex) to pull off the hoses. A hose pinch off plier (KD) was used to temporarily stop the coolant from spilling all over until a drain pan was put under the car. I think I used a pair of needle nose (Channellock) and Duckbill (Craftsman) pliers to help spin one of the hose clamps around so that I could capture it with a hose clamp plier.
