This homemade quick vise is turning out awesome! I have never used Purple Heart and Canary wood in together in a woodworking project before and it looks amazing! This quick action Bench vise is going to get a ton of use.

Beta recently released a new design for an oil filter wrench, that is a huge improvement over traditional “strap wrenches”. Basically they eliminated the need to have the wrench rotate only in one direction, and instead it physically clamps down onto an oil filter and will allow you to loosen or tighten it very easily.
I first read about these online last month, and have been very impressed with the wrench in general. Not only does it work exactly as advertised, but it also does not damage the filter at all….even though it is clamping down on it with an extreme amount of force.
Check out the video to see exactly what I am talking about, and I think I was able to show the advantages of this wrench over a traditional strap wrench….or even a pair of oil filter pliers, since it works great & does not damage the filter.
Thanks for watching!
