  • KIMBERLY JARO NIETES of ILOILO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL performing the Individual AnyoDoble Baston (Arnis Competition) during Integrated Meet 2011 held at Iloilo National High School, Lapaz, Iloilo City last Dec. 13, 2011. Only have three days of rigid practice prior to competition proper, decided to perform the doble baston only last 12/7/11. She was given at first the task to do the Solo Baston Individual, yet still head’s up to won Silver…compare to other competitors practicing for almost three months…

Starts with tools and cutting. Bending starts at about 10:47. Flaring starts about 20min in.
***NOTE: The notches in the mandrel bar of the CPP tool are the depth gauge for the tubing preset. Thank you to the those that have pointed that out!! I sincerely appreciate you educating me!!!! :)

Use this info at your own risk. Brake problems can be deadly. If you can’t do you own work correctly, seek a professional. This is how I do it and it’s just just for demonstration purposes and not intended to instruct.
In the vid, I say they’re aluminum lines, but they are steel lines.
I was helping a buddy with his A100 van and I had the tools handy. Thought I’d throw together some info that might help the less experienced see that brake line work isn’t rocket science…..but it does have to be done right. There’s lots of info on the web on how to do this so do your homework.
The vid includes flares made with a common, very cheap flaring tool and with a CPP kit. The CPP flaring tool is well worth the money if you do brake lines more than once.

**update 8/11/13** Looks like the price is now $70, about half what I paid. www.classicperform.com Part #CPDFT-D
