Hey guys, welcome back to Knifehog.com! Addison here and today I’m going to review the tool that you should never leave home without: the Leatherman Rebar Multi-Tool.
Although there are many multi-functional pocket and Swiss army knives on the market, there are none like the Rebar Multi-Tool. This tool has an open length of 6.9″ and a closed length of 4″ and weighs only 6.7 ounces, which makes it perfect for storing in your back or front pocket. This multi-tool device comes complete with 17 tools so you are never without the right tool for the job. To name a few there are two blades made of 420HC stainless steel, one is a plain edged and one is serrated. These blades are not sharp enough to handle heavy duty chopping but can come in handy when you need to cut price tags off of things like clothes and sleeping bags and can even cut through thin rope. There are also two replaceable wire cutters made of 154CM steel that can come in handy when you need to cut thin wire from a fence while camping or hiking. Other tools on this knife include an electrical crimper, needle nose pliers, an 8″ ruler, a can opener and a wood and metal file. A leather sheath also comes included with this multi-tool.
Overall, the Leatherman Rebar multi-tool is a top notch product that you would definitely want with you in just about any situation. It has a variety of tools made of tough steel that is guaranteed to hold up to just about anything you put it though. Plus, it’s slim, lightweight and retractable profile makes it very easy to carry and store. There is not one bad thing I have to say about this multi-tool and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to break away from the traditional pocket knife with a limited number of tools.
