Very early yesterday morning at around 12:30 am firefighters with the Modesto Regional Fire Authority were dispatched to the intersection of Maze Blvd. and Spencer Ave. in Modesto, California for reports of a live high voltage power line down in the roadway.

When the crew arrived on the scene they found a power line laying across the middle of the intersection running down Spencer Ave. from Maze Blvd.

Sparks and smoke could be scene coming off the line and a small brush fire soon broke out on Spencer Ave.

Firefighters had to hold off on extinguishing the fire as the risk of injury was too high due to the live wire. They called in for a Modesto Irrigation District utility worker to come to the scene and take care of the downed power line. Officers with the Modesto Police Department and California Highway Patrol were dispatched to the intersection as well in order to divert traffic from the area.

The utility worker showed up soon after. He was able to cut the high voltage power line with a specialized tool. A large spark could be seen on camera when the line is cut.

The small brush fire self extinguished for the most part. Firefighters doused the fire to insure it would not reignite. No one was injured during the incident.

The M.I.D. worker and firefighters at the scene were not sure why the wire had fallen into the roadway. The incident occurred just after the stroke of midnight on New Year’s Eve / New Year’s Day however it is unknown if there was a connection. There was no sign of a car crash or vandalism at the scene. The power supply to homes in the immediate area was restored within hours.

Description: This is a video how to change the motor mount on the passenger side of my Caravan with a 3.3L V6 engine. This should also apply to the 3.8L engine. Although this is a V6 the proceedure should be the same for 4 Cyl engines but the mount part number will change. Hope this helps. The motor mount by part number applies to the 2001 to the 2006 Caravan, Town & Country, Plymouth Voyagers. So Even thought the proceedure is on a 2002 Caravan the process should be almost Identicale to it for your van. Let me know if it doesn’t work on your van and I will adjust the title.
