I show how to make a mini paperclip slingshot. It is very easy to make and only requires a paper clip, elastic band, and pliers to bend the paper clip with. The paper clip is bent into a ‘Y’ shape and the elastic band is cut and tied to the fork. The projectiles are simple V darts that can be made by bending paperclip scraps or folding paper into a V shape. It only takes a few minutes to make and with enough practice, you can become a fairly accurate shot. This is a fun project that you can do to entertain yourself when you’re bored.

A slingshot, shanghai, flip, bean shooter, or a hand catapult (primarily British English) is a small hand-powered projectile weapon. The classic form consists of a Y-shaped frame held in the off hand, with two rubber strips attached to the uprights. The other ends of the strips lead back to a pocket which holds the projectile. The pocket is grasped by the dominant hand and drawn back to the desired extent to provide power for the projectile (up to a full span of the arms with sufficiently long bands).

Last week I posted a video on “Pressure Testing a Cooling System” using this vehicle. Here’s a link.
In that video we found that the radiator had a massive crack in the top tank. In this video we go through the process of replacing that radiator without even lifting the car up off the ground or going underneath it. Why work that hard? Anyway, here’s some useful links for you.
