im using a cordless 14v to spin my core….. i have attached the other end of the core to 3 fishing swivels so the core doesn’t twist.. clamp the swivels firmly to your desk or chosen building area and keep firm tension on the drill.. im using the grooves of the pliers to feed the line onto the core. . dont squeeze to tight or u will risk snapping whatever you are wrapping your clapton core with !!! hope this helps
