You will need:

* Spanner or crowfoot attachment for bar to suit track rod lock-nut (24 mm shown). An adjustable spanner may turn a nut that’s not tight
* Adjustable spanner or vise-grips (locking pliers) to hold tie rod while turning lock-nut
* Socket and spanner to suit stud nut (15 mm shown)
* Hex key to suit stud (depending on design)
* Breaker bar
* Ratchet handle (convenient)
* Hammer
* Torque wrench (important for tightening the stud nut on the ball joint)
* Thread locker if re-using old stud nut.
A Reversible jaw with Xtra capacity allows working with bigger diameter nuts and pipes with the same adjustable wrench.
