Uncle Eddie here again! Sorry for the delayed upload! I usually like to get a video out at least on Sunday and on Thursday. But we have been having some pretty crazy tropical storms blowing through Southern California since Saturday and it really has been messing with the internet signal. But anyways, the video is here!
Today’s tip we will talk about what are the absolute BASIC tools that you should have around the house. Whether you are a novice when it comes to tools, or you recently just bought your friend home (apartment, condo, house, etc), or if you’re just curious about what you should have, this is the video for you!
Now, these tools that I mention in the video aren’t ALL the tools that you should have alone. And other tool experts might tell you different opinions. BUT, in my own personal opinion, this is a list of all the basic household tools you should keep around.
Flat head/Phillips head screw drivers
Channel lock pliers
Locking pliers
Standard slip joint pliers
Utility knife
Permanent Markers
Carpenters pencils and sharpener
Adjustable wrench
Tape measure
Stud finder
Claw hammer
Pipe wrench
Clamps
Level
Allen screw set
Wood glue
Gloves
Mask
Eye protection
Screws/Nails
Like I said, these tools in my opinion are the bare minimum that you should have around the home. I’m not being endorsed by any of these companies or tool brands or anything. I just wanted to come on here and share with you my opinions and maybe give you some insight to what to have on hand. If you have any questions on what any of these tools are or if you have some input about what are your basic home tools, leave them all in the comments section below and I will get back to you!
