Step by step instruction how to replace drum brakes and also how to repack your wheel bearings with grease. We recut the drums and were able to use all the old hardware to save money. I show you how to repack your bearings since we have the drums off already, it’s a good thing to do and doesn’t take that much extra time. This is a 1991 Chrysler Lebaron GTC example, but most are similar.
In this video i’m going to show how i restored an old beat up hammer to a new and custom made one with a personal touch.
Unfortunately the Heat treating of this hammer is not covered by this video as the camera died. The way it was done was by heating the hammer head to a soft red glow and then cooling it quickly in a bucket of water. After that i used a stove to temper the steel in order to not make it break if there were a miss hit on a hardened steel surface.
Hope you enjoy the video.
