  • How I removed my stripped brake caliper bolt. After heating with a torch, lubing still no luck and I stripped the snot out of the the allen wrench type head. I ended up sliding the rubber boot to the side, and turning the pin with vice grips. Actually a couple of flat section on the pin. Filed the pin smooth after, lubed then replaced since the head was stripped only in the CCW direction, it still tightened in the CW direction. Buy new pins if desired but saved on the cost of a torx socket/kit.



    We have tried to find some video about changing a cassette on the road when you have just the cassette lock ring tool and could not find any. So we made one.

    You have to imagine this happen in the middle of the Amazonian forest and just a truck driver is there to help you with his huge tools for trucks :-)
