Welcome to the Double Edge Racing TeknoRC ET48.3 Build Series! This is the tips, tricks, and techniques video for building turnbuckles and camber links. I will be continuing the build series here on my YouTube channel as well as covering questions on FaceBook and the official Tekno ET48 thread on RCTech.
Note: Some will also use a body reamer to enlarge the start of the hole some. Tekno already has this extra angle added to help with starting the threads, so doing so further only serves to weaken the turnbuckle’s holding power, much like the lubricant. It may help get it started though if you just can’t seem to, or have tried a while and need to clean up the starting angle to have something for the link to bite on again.

Some quick shout outs. I got started back into RC again a few years ago at NorCal Hobbies in San Jose, CA. https://www.NorCalHobbies.com They are a great place to learn, race, and pick up any of the items I mention. Also a huge thanks to my wife for allowing me to pursue my passions and do things like this, and to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for everything that I am.
