Hi, Dave Wilson here again. On all of these special videos I’m gonna be showing you the best that Tronex has got to offer, and I’m gonna be putting each one of the tools through its paces. So sit back, stay tuned, follow me. Okay, so brand new from Tronex, these are the 555 Bent Nose Pliers. Now, unlike the original bent nose pliers, the 551, these are even finer. I can just show you the difference there if I put them side by side. Hopefully you can see the tips there. These are the 551s, the original ones. Nice and fine, very strong, and these are the 551s so very, very fine tips. These are probably some of the most intricate pliers that Tronex make, and being angled it means that you can hold your hand naturally and work on a product here. So great for repetitive work, ’cause you can hold your hands very naturally, very comfortable. You can either use them this way around to grasp an object, or if you make chain mail like I do I would probably use them the other way around and use these to hold jump rings here. This is a tip for squaring up your vise fairly accurately without spending time using a test indicator each time. At the time I shot the video, I was still drilling and countersinking the holes in the keystock and drilling and tapping the vise. The fit is very tight, and the test indicator shows it to be off by only .0005″, which is about 4 times better than what I really need for what I use my mill for! This is my best machining time saver yet!
