Since making my bar clamps a couple of months ago they have been in my way. They have been moved from one surface to another or been kicking around the floor. I don’t know why I didn’t do it earlier but I finally got around to making a clamp rack. It is very basic and only took 10 minutes to make. My biggest problem was finding a space to put a rack – the main wall of my workshop is the outside tin wall and not easy to mount anything to. I do plan on lining that wall out with plywood in the future, then I will be able to hang tools, jigs and put shelves up too. I found a small space between the door and window of my picture framing room – this worked out by stacking the clamps four deep.
Not the most interesting project ( I do have some good ones coming up though) but it was a satisfying project giving the clamps a home and tidying the workshop up too.
Hope you enjoy the video and as always I’m happy to answer any questions.
