I’ve been seeing some machining videos being uploaded a few times here lately, so I thought I might add one of our own for anyone who hasn’t seen a rotary broach. Rotary broaches can come in many different shapes. This one happens to be a simple hex for an Allen wrench. The programmer caught a little flack for his birds nest on the turn tool, but he was pretty happy to watch the video after we were finished. Hope you like it. Machining done on a Hardinge Quest 65 five axis lathe. If anybody likes this kind of stuff, I can put up some more. This is my very first upload so be gentle.
