This video is a bit long and I admit my future videos will be quicker and more to the point. This is just me speaking about how I managed to install the Magpul MOE Forend on my Mossberg 500 WITHOUT getting rid of the factory heatshield/shroud. It’s very simply put just a matter of removing the barrel and crimping the heatshield down onto the barrel a little tighter than factory. Use a C-clamp or a vise and it shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes to do. Thanks for watching guys!
Make a propane tank valve removal tool using a piece of round steel and some flat bar. A great DIY Project thats of use to anyone working and recycling steel into woodstoves, pot belly burners or firepits.
A much safer method for recycling old and discarded gas bottles instead of whaling on them with a hammer, cutting them with a grinder or drilling into them.
A valve can get stuck due to the brass valve being in contact with the steel body and corossion building up in between them. You will need to make sure the propane tank is tight against a fixed post. The one in the video goes down to a depth of 3ft/900mm and is also surrounded by concrete.
Great for wood stoves and burners, rocket stoves, portable compressed air units and more, you can find them dumped at many places and in need of recycling.
Tools youre going to need are
Grinder
Pillar drill ideally
File
Pencil
