Removing a rounded bolt or nut. I made this video to show how to remove a rounded bolt or nut that is rounded off. These are like easy outs but work on rounded nuts and rounded bolt heads that have been rounded off.they are a great addition to any tool box. These sockets will grab even on completely rounded nuts or bolt heads. You can even grab a stud and turn it out if it is sticking out a little bit.
This is the 3 legged oil filter wrench. I was trying to take the oil filter off during an oil change and it was on there good and tight. I used some oil filter pliers but they only crushed the filter and would not budge it. I tried putting a screwdriver through the filter but this only tore it apart more. I went to the local sears paid about $6 and came home and took my socket wrench and it tightened around the filter and took it off with great ease. You can also use it to tighten a filter on.
