カナレ(CANARE)のシールドはプラグ部分のキャップが非常に固く、素手で回すことは難しいのですが、ロッキングプライヤーという工具を使うと簡単に開けられます。ロッキングプライヤーでプラグ先端部分をクランプしたら、あとはキャップのギザギザ部分を普通のペンチで掴んで回せば開きます。
掴む部分に多少キズがつきますので、何か適当な当て布を挟むといいかも知れません。
プライヤーのネジの調整如何でうまく掴めるかどうか決まりますので、キズがついても構わないプラグを使って使い方を練習してみるといいかも知れません。
